BRE AUBERRY (President)

Meet Bre, our President of Black Thread Agency. She graduated from The University of Florida with a focus in Advertising and has background in CPG market research, public relations and music label management. She co-founded the Florida record label Swamp Records and has successfully integrated brands, such as Red Bull and Grooveshark, into culture events that have driven thousands of attendees. Her vision for Black Thread Agency is to always have our pulse on culture. When she’s not planning the next move, you can catch her drinking gin at a speakeasy bar.


Steve is a designer born, raised and based in Chicago. He cultivated our brand to shape our mission. He specializes in refreshing brands and creating retail programs for new and existing brands. Steve has led creative programs for Nintendo, Bacardi, Nike, Pokémon and so much more. He's also a seasoned club DJ.

KELSEY JENKINS (Public Relations)

Kelsey handles public relations for Black Thread Agency clients including Peach and Delia Dane and actually loves waking up for work in the morning. Her experience includes working for an elite PR agency based in Los Angeles where she shined the limelight on clients across television, digital entertainment, technology, sports, gaming and music. Kelsey has done award-winning work for top entertainment companies like National Geographic Channel, Netflix, Nickelodeon, SEGA, Endemol Shine, AEG and more. She loves traveling to new places to drink local beers and pet animals. Born in Chicago and raised in Florida, Kelsey is a graduate of the University of Florida.

ZACHARY SCHLEIN (Communications)

Zach Schlein is a writer based in Miami, Florida. Originally from Montville, New Jersey, he has a BA in Political Science from the University of Florida and writes primarily on music, culture and clubbing, with a healthy dose of politics whenever possible. He has been published in Miami New Times, The HillMixmagTime Out Miami, and City Gazettes.

CHRIS TUTTLE (Production)

Chris Tuttle is an artist based in Chicago. He worked under Liz Klafeta of Bangtel for 4 years before branching out on his own. He currently provides services like art direction, wardrobe styling, prop fabrication, and event design to various commercial and independent clients.
